Sheet masks can be a bit tricky for guys with facial hair. They’re often too small for our faces and don’t stick well to the lower half. Look for sheet masks that come in two pieces, one for the top half and one for the bottom. You can share the bottom half with your partner or a friend, or just save it for later. If the mask doesn’t quite fit your face, you can make small snips near the eyes and nose to help it stay in place.

Peel-off masks can be fun, but they can also be painful, especially if you have a thick beard. Stick to areas with thinner hair, like your cheeks and forehead. And if you accidentally get some in your beard, no worries – just use a little avocado or coconut oil to get it off.

What type of mask to pick?

When it comes to the type of mask, consider the texture. Cream, clay, or gel-based masks can work well even with a beard. You can part your beard into sections and work the mask in. Avoid masks with beads or physical exfoliators as they can be tough to wash off. Hydrating masks are a good choice to keep your skin and beard happy.

Don’t forget about your eyes! Men’s skin around the eyes can be prone to wrinkles and dark spots. Eye masks made of bio-cellulose are great for this delicate area. They hold moisture well and stick nicely to the skin. And for all you busy guys out there, here’s a time-saving hack. Look for multipurpose mask/cleanser products. These can be applied as a mask and then easily rinsed off, even from a bushy beard. So, if you’re in a rush but still want to give your skin some love, these products are a lifesaver.
